Deep in Winter's embrace, while much of Nature appears to sleep, the stirring begins beneath and within the Earth. As we approach the halfway point of Winter, no matter the weather, we begin to yearn for longer days, sunlight, warmth and growing things. We are merely responding to the rhythm of Gaia, who knows the time is coming. While the Earth lies wrapped in Winter's shroud, She also prepares for a riotous explosion of growth with the coming of Spring! And while we may have turned inward, following the seasonal cosmic dance on our planet, those of us who are in tune to Her rhythm are beginning to feel the quickening within, the stirring. Winter allows time for introspection, contemplation, assessing our creations from the previous year and looking toward the birthing of new creations. We rest, we gestate, we dream. We plan our emergence from our cocoon as beautiful winged beings of Light, fully conscious, fully empowered, fully in tune with Gaia and the Cosmos.
The intensity of 2017 energetically has been challenging as well as exhilarating for most of us. We are being propelled forward, being asked to release those things that no longer serve us on our path, being repositioned to places that serve in our growth. All of this intense change can be daunting, scary, nerve-wracking-- but we are being asked to step beyond our comfort zones, follow our hearts, and fully relax into Universal flow. We are being asked to trust that we will be supported on our journey. That's a lot of work being done when we appear to be sleeping. So we, like Gaia, are feeling the stirring within. And we, like our Earth Mother, are preparing to explode in riotous bloom as the year moves along.
