The energy with which I was confronted in that home was nothing less than utter despair, pain, anguish, hopelessness. I felt unable to breathe, unable to think. Those of you who know me well understand that I am rarely or almost never affected to that point in situations like this. I realized then that this was no ordinary house cleaning. There was indeed a portal through which this energy swirled and ensconced the entire home. There were also entities that had been sucked through the vortex and appeared to be trapped there, confused and filled with this desperate energy. I felt a sadness that I have never before experienced. Although extremely uncomfortable, I proceeded to clear the area, the entities and to close the portal. But the energy became completely null, stagnant--as if all the air and life had been sucked out--as if a giant vacuum had been created. I knew I needed to go further. I needed to talk with the spirits of the land, the ancestors, the Earth-Keepers. This was from whence the pain was emanating. This was the nexus of despair.
I opened a dialogue with the spirits of the land. A host of Native American spirits, as well as Nature spirits, exuberantly communicated to me their plight. The land upon which the home sits, as well as the entire very large development, was sick, angry, in pain, in despair. Corroborated by the home owner, I discovered that over 20 years ago, this beautiful, pristine, sacred wilderness was bulldozed and leveled for the construction of over 2000 houses. There was no regard for Nature, life, sacredness--nothing! Practically overnight, the entire area was razed, destroyed, gone forever! Water channels were disrupted. Energy lines were severed. Utter chaos reigned where once was Gaia's indescribable beauty. The destruction and loss of life was unimaginable! The ancestors and Nature spirits of the land still weep over this heinous action! They are sad, so sad. And how many places has this happened? Countless thousands, millions?
I listened, I wept with them, I apologized for mankind's greed and disregard for the sanctity of life, for the rape of Mother Earth. I sent love, love and more love into the portal, into the Earth. I sent love until I could send no more. Eventually the energy shifted to reflect the love being given. Eventually the air returned to the room. Eventually there was healthy spin and flow to the energy of the space. The portal was closed. But the most beautiful thing I have ever felt was the love that was now emanating from the Earth herself. The ancestors, spirits of the land and the Earth-Keepers were sending their love in return. This time I wept with joy!
But I knew my work was not done. I pledged to help and I will do anything in my power to keep that promise. The ancestors, Nature spirits and Earth-Keepers are here to teach us about healing our relationship with the Earth, both in our own homes and our own land, as well as in our communities, public spaces, parks, woodlands, and anywhere else that is dear to us. Humanity has not been kind to the Earth for hundreds of years. The way we are living upon our Mother is not sustainable. It is not acceptable. It is rape. Pure and simple. Those of us with a consciousness high enough to comprehend this must act. Our Mother is in distress. The land is sick. We, the lightworkers, the Earth-Keepers are needed. This is our time to heal the land, heal the Earth and heal ourselves in the process!
I had the delightful opportunity to speak at length with a local shaman this morning who has had experience doing this work. He inspired me and gave me plenty of ideas, insights and advice. Blessings to you Dear One for your help! You are a true Earth-Keeper! With his advice as well as the guidance I received from the ancestors, Nature spirits and land spirits, this is what I propose. Let's make this personal so that it "hits home". Here is my proposal.
Each of us who is aware and awake must take the time to dialogue with and commune with the ancestors and spirits of our own land, our own community and of those places we frequent or hold dear. Ask them what is needed to heal the land, the spirits of the land. Ask what is needed to heal our own personal relationship to our own land or our own spaces. In each of our homes, let's honor the spirits of those who came before. The ancestors and spirits of the land are ever-present. Honor them. Thank them for their sacrifice. Create sacred space where communion and true wisdom exists. Allow the ancestors and Nature spirits to teach us how to proceed in sacred union with Gaia. Allow them to vent their grief through us. Allow the acknowledgement of what humanity has done to our Mother in the past to sink in and resonate on a deep level. Take ownership. Pledge to be a living example to others of living in harmony with Mother Earth and all her Kingdoms--animal, plant, mineral, Elemental. And send love. Give love. Be love. Give it to the land. Give it to the ancestors. Give it to all Mother Earth's Kingdoms. Show compassion to all living things. Honor the sanctity of all life, both seen and unseen. Show gratitude to our beautiful Earth, to our wise ancestors, to the spirits of Nature. Everywhere we walk, let us radiate and emanate this love to all beings, to the Earth herself. Make this a part of our conscious living. As we begin to harmonize with our own spaces, we begin to heal the Earth as a whole. As we heal one part, we heal all. So let's all pledge to do this. Begin at home to see things in a different way. In every spiritual or healing group, let Earth healing and loving happen. The ancestors and spirits of your own land and community are waiting to teach you how to help, how to heal. Will you listen? Will you act? Will you?
Blessings Dear Earth-Keepers! We are all one as we are all one with Gaia.
