I am starting (actually reviving!) Reiki and Healers' Shares. The first one will be Saturday February 4 from 1 PM to 3 PM at Michelle Star Yoga & Healing Arts at 7372 Engle Rd. in Middleburg Heights. I plan to offer these Shares on the first Saturday of each month at the same time and place. Based upon group participation and interest, we can adjust the schedule as needed to accommodate as many as we can. The idea of a Reiki Share is to gather Reiki practitioners and Healers who wish to practice their art on others to gain expertise and confidence, as well as receiving healing for themselves. We will all gather together to discuss issues, problems, questions etc. that impact each of our lives and practices. In addition to healing each other, we will also send group healing to those in the community or family who need healing or assistance. We will also send group healing to the Earth!
In this time of great shift within our world and the greater Universe as a whole, the healing and life-transforming benefits of Reiki are more imporant than ever! I know many people who have been attuned to Reiki who have never used this precious gift! This is an opportunity for profound growth--physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. My vision for this group is to eventually offer healing to the community on a donation basis, especially for those who can't afford formal treatments. I also plan to incorporate pet healing sessions for the community in the near future. Perhaps this group can, in the future, "take it on the road" to offer healing to the broader community family, in hospices, nursing homes, hospitals, etc. All of this will manifest depending on how the group comes together and on our shared vision of providing community service that speaks to the greater good. The Shares are free to all. All we ask is a $5.00 donation to go toward room rental.
We will be conducting the Shares in the Yoga studio, so we ask that you bring slippers or thick socks with you since we don't wear shoes in that sacred space. If anyone has Reiki or massage tables of their own, please bring them! We have several, but depending on group size, more will be appreciated!
